My name is Sally Armsden and I'm an artist specializing in collage, oil
and acrylic paint, and graphic design for print.
I started out very young doing traditional art and discovered new mediums
and tools for creating as I grew older.
As a collage artist, I like to work with paint, fabric, metal, leather,
paper, and pretty much any found object that I think would create the feeling I want to convey. As a painter, I like to include
a little collage and impasto in my paintings to convey a sense of depth and to create an abstract expression or mood. As a
designer, I use various design software to make any printed item aesthetically pleasing, yet convey a clear message.
I enjoy creating things that are unexpected, abstract, and interactive
with the viewer.
Currently I design various print items for local and national accounts.
This has provided me with experience in creating both visual and tangible project results in a fast paced environment. Working
closely with vendors, sales representatives, and account owners, has made me capable of communicating my ideas clearly and
overcoming challenges during intense situations. It has also given me an insider-knowledge of press production, color management,
various design software, and the club and restaurant business.
